AdminHistoryWhen The Centre was original envisaged it comprised a covered shopping centre with an attached superstore. Woolco, a subsidiary of Woolworths was the first owner/operator of the attached superstore and stocked an almost bewildering array of goods. Woolco pulled out of the shop in the mid 1980s, and the store then passed through several brands and owners, including Fine Fare, Carrefour, Gateway and, finally, Asda.
