| AdminHistory | The Development Corporation decided in the early 1970s that there was the need to open a golf course within Livingston. After a tendering process the development was taken forward by Miller Buckley Investments. The course opened in 1978 and was managed by Miller Buckley who leased the site from the Corporation. When this partnership ended, the Corporation sold the site on the proviso that the course and associated amenities be upgraded. The sale was completed by the Muir Group, and in a refurbished 18 hole golf course was openened, with an attached leisure complex, known as the Deer Park and a hotel. |
