| AdminHistory | The Development Corporation, as part of its plans for Livingston town centre, built a multi-use facility called The Forum. Completed in 1986 the building incorporated sports arenas, leisure facilities and a conference centre that could also be used to host music groups and other activities. However, despite several attempts, including letting out The Forum to a commercial contractor, the Corporation was unable to make the enterprise break even and the site of The Forum was redeveloped in the 1990s. |
