AdminHistory | The Chief Executive was responsible for the day to day operations of the Corporation. These operations were, in turn, governed by a number of standing orders and procedures laid down by the Corporation Board and the Scottish Office. The Scottish New Town's Handbook laid out the rules governing Corporations.
In his role as manager, the Chief Executive also worked on overall policy, approved expenditure departments, and corresponded with MPs, Councillors and local residents. |
