AdminHistoryThe Corporation was an outward looking organisation that had a number of measures to engage both with the community and with professional bodies. As far as the Registry system was concerned, "Courses and Conferences" included meetings with tenant tenants' associations and community councils. Tenants' associations were first formed in 1985 with aid from the Corporation and represented the views of tenants/residents to the Corporation on issues such as Estate Management; Repairs Policy; Allocations and Transfer Policy; Capital Expenditure Policy.

Community Councils are the most local form of government in Scotland and have a general remit to represent thier local community.
