| AdminHistory | The Finance Department acted as financial controller for the Corporation. In terms of the production of housing, this manifested itself in several ways. The Department recorded the number of sales, and the price paid for the house; recorded how many houses had been constructed and the prices paid; and, the department issued Completion Certificates, which acknowledged that a contractor had carried out the necessary work and could receive payment. |
