| AdminHistory | There was a Depute Chief Officer of the Housing and Community Department from 1983 until 1986 when the last, and only, incumbent (Tom Chalmers) departed. After this date the post was redesignated so that two Assistant Chief posts, on the same pay grade, would exist. These posts were the Assistant Chief Housing Manager (Management) and the Assistant Chief Housing Manager (Development).
From 1991 the Chief Officers and Deputes merged their meetings and the Deputes no longer met separately. |
