| AdminHistory | In the 1980s, following social changes that affected when a person might want to move out of the parental home (i.e. young people were no longer waiting for marriage and a family of their own before moving out) the Development Corporation, in conjunction with West Lothian District Council, initiated a number of procedural reviews that were designed to accommodate the rise of young, single people who wanted to live alone and away from home. |
