It was responsible for managing the business of the Co-operative, within limitations set out at the annual general meetings. This business included - renumerating, where appropriate, Co-operative Officers; agreeing the terms of occupation for a property; appointing solicitors, surveyors, architects and other advisors; to pay expenses incurred by the Committee in the execution of its duties. |
