AdminHistory | Where the responsibility for the physical maintenance of Corporation property lay changed during the thirty years of the Corporation's existence. Generally speaking, until 1991 there was a Maintenance and Repairs Organisation, from whom the Housing Department would commission minor repairs to Housing Stock. Major refurbishment programmes were undertaken in liaison with the technical departments.
From 1991 and the creation of the Property Services Directorate, the maintenance of all Corporation property was the responsibility of this new department. |
