AdminHistory | A local branch of the Epilepsy Association of Scotland, the Livingston group was established in 1982 and pioneered development of community based services, leading to the founding of a Children's Centre and Adults' Day Care Centre together with an informational service in the Livingston area.
The branch leased two flats from the Corporation for operational purposes and offered financial assistance through a £30,000 grant towards refurbishing Bloom House, an old manse bought for use as a centralised centre for the operation. The Corporation was also represented on the Management Committee of the Livingston Epilepsy Group. |
