| AdminHistory | The Livingston Skatebowl was completed in 1980, comprising of one bowl and one half pipe with a run off. The Bowl proved popular with the local youth population and a Skates Club was formed. Two founders of the Skates Club jointly received the Young Businessman of the Year Award from the Princes Trust in 1990.
Given the successful public attention that the skatebowl had brought to Livingston, and the damage caused by age, in 1990 it was decided to renovate the Skatebowl area at the same time as the building of the Model Stock Car Club's Racing Oval. |
