Extent16 files
ScopeandContent16 files comprising administration and engineering files. For most works undertaken there is both an engineering file and an administration file. The administration files are all catalogued under the same reference number 2/1.

Administration files record the decision made to undertake the work, the tendering process and any administrative tasks such as the provision of insurance documents.

Engineering files cover the quality control and management of external contractors. When a job was completed the engineering department issued instalment certificates that signalled that the Finance Department of the Corporation was approved to issue payment.
