| AdminHistory | As part of its publicity activities, and to contribute to the community, the Corporation organised a number of civic activities and celebrations on key dates, such as its 10th and 25th anniversary celebrations. For example, the opening of Howden Park Centre was planned to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the New Town, whilst a ceremony was held to welcome the twentieth thousand resident to move to Livingston.
The corporation also attended a number of industry exhibitions to promote the benefits of "Locating in Livingston". |
