TitleScottish Development Department (later Scottish Industry Department) approvals
Date1981-1990
TermTown planning
AdminHistoryThe Corporation only had the delegated authority to spend a certain amount - variable throughout its life time. It required approval from the Secretary of State for Scotland/the relevant department, for certain expenditure. Similarly, the Corporation also had to submit Stage 'A's to the Secretary of State for Scotland for approval. Stage A were district wide planning applications. If a minor change to the Stage A was made after approval, this did not need further approval so long as it did not change the character of the area.
