| AdminHistory | In 1996 the Corporation appointed historian Elspeth Wills to produce a history of Livingston since the designation of the New Town. The objective of the book was to write a history as the Corporation wished to be remembered, at the same time as providing a record for past and future generations of Livingston.
The project was managed by Paul Filipek. Wills used a variety of sources to produce the book, including interviews with past and (then) present staff members, board papers and other desk research.
