1. Typed and handwritten drafts for an untitled article on ecumenicalism - of 'building a new temple' that did not pay attention to old divisions in the church.
2. Typed and handwritten drafts for an article entitled "Pointers to Renewal in the Gospel."
3. Typed draft, with annotations and corrections of the pamphlet "Living Stones".
4. Typed and handwritten drafts of an article entitled "God's Church in Scotland: Stork or Mid-Wife."
5. Two typed copies of an article entitled "Politics at the Grass Roots".
6. Copies of an article Maitland sent to The Scotsman about the proposed shopping centre in Livingston, and the effect it had on community life elsewhere within the town [1987].
7. Handwritten notes on "Children in Livingston's Ecumenical Experiment".
